⁹ Swarms of living creatures will live wherever the river flows. There will be large numbers of fish, because this water flows there and makes the salt water fresh; so where the river flows everything will live.^(A)

² through whom we have gained access^(A) by faith into this grace in which we now stand.^(B) And we^[a] boast in the hope^(C) of the glory of God.

¹² Fruit trees of all kinds will grow on both banks of the river.^(A) Their leaves will not wither, nor will their fruit^(B) fail. Every month they will bear fruit, because the water from the sanctuary^(C) flows to them. Their fruit will serve for food and their leaves for healing.^(D)”

³⁷ But in accordance with the command of the Lord our God,^(A) you did not encroach on any of the land of the Ammonites,^(B) neither the land along the course of the Jabbok^(C) nor that around the towns in the hills.
